Our Story
Built on Trust, Grown Through Service
Northfield Heating & Cooling was founded in 1998 by Robert Macedo, a veteran HVAC technician who spent over a decade working for large contractors across the Greater Toronto Area. After years of seeing how big companies often prioritized profits over people, Robert decided to build something different—a company that would put customers first and do things the right way, even when no one was watching.
What started as a one-man operation working out of a pickup truck has grown into a trusted team of licensed technicians serving thousands of homeowners across Toronto and the GTA. Through it all, our core values have never changed: honest communication, quality workmanship, and treating every home like our own.
Today, Northfield remains a family-owned and operated business. Robert still works in the field alongside his team, and his wife Sandra manages day-to-day operations. Together with a dedicated crew of skilled technicians, they continue the mission that started over 25 years ago—earning trust, one service call at a time.
